Ben Pyle BSc, CEng, MICE, FIHT Managing Director With over 25 years' experience in civil engineering, design & construction in England, Ben became Commercial Director of CORMAC, the Cornwall County Council direct labour organisation, in 1993 He left there in 1996 to head SWH and has overseen its growth from £15 million to £85 million in that time. Glen Robinson BEng (Hons) Operations Director Glen is a Civil and Structural Engineer with over ten years experience with a major contractor in this sector on both small schemes and major projects. In 1999 Glen moved into the Highways sector and has managed Highways Agency Term Maintenance and MAC contracts. He joined SWH in 2007 as Operations Director with overall responsibility for the performance of the five key divisions. Glynn Bramwell FIHT Commercial Director Glynn has a wide range of experience from Scotland to the Southwest in his 43 years in construction. He joined SWH in 1995 and became responsible for up to £65 million p.a. of tenders each year, including the Devon County Council Term Maintenance contract. Peter Davies MIHT, BSc Construction Director With over 20 years experience in civil engineering in railways, flood alleviation, oil refineries, motorways, tunnels & bridges made Peter the ideal candidate to become Construction Manager of SWH in 2002, managing a £30 million turnover of work outside our Term Maintenance contracts. Keith Mason Finance Director Keith has over 30 years experience of accounts at a senior level, the last 20 years being within the construction industry in the South West. Having joined SWH in 1995, Keith is responsible for the Finance Department as well as Fleet, Insurance, IT and administration. Andrew Plumber MRICS, BSc Business Manager Andrew joined SWH in November 2008 from a building construction background including periods as Managing Director of Bartlett Construction and as Director of ROK Build. He has also been active in property development when he was a regular client of SWH. Andrew's role is to lead our continued growth and diversification. Phil Trenaman MRICS, MIHT, BSc Performance Manager A fully qualified quantity surveyor, Phil joined SWH in 1995 from Devon County Council. He handles quantity surveying, quality assurance and associated policies. Lesley Code BA (Hons), FCIPD HR Strategic Partner Lesley has a successful track record with over 25 years experience as an HR professional developing people strategies in manufacturing, technology, utilities, engineering and constructions industries. She joined SWH in 2008 with responsibility for initiating, developing and leading strategies which support SWH goals and with overall responsibility for the HR team.
