Managing and operating the UK’s largest county road network is a very demanding task, and one that we are justifiably proud of. From seven highway depots we monitor and maintain some 13,500km of roads and over 3,500 bridges, and although it is the single largest contract we fulfil, it is only one of many. In addition, some 25% of our road surfacing activity is carried out for private clients.
