SWH Training provides a wide range of specialist construction training and engineering apprenticeship courses, including CPCS training and forklift training

We offer all our clients the support they need to keep up with the ever-changing needs of the construction and civil engineering industry, and have become an expert in offering training in line with the National Highway Sector schemes.

Apprenticeships

SWH Training is pleased to offer Apprenticeships in High Friction Surfaces and Highway Maintenance and Repair. Highway Maintenance and Repair Apprenticeship at a glance:

• Over a two-year intensive programme, each Apprentice will gain all the core skills associated with work on the highway
• This will include the identification of buried services, traffic management, excavation and the reinstatement of the Highway

Our Apprenticeships are constantly changing to comply with current legislation.

The Highway Maintenance and Repair Apprenticeship is one of SWH Training's major success stories, having achieved the prestigious 'Most promising Apprentice' award from the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) for the last four years. Another SWH Apprentice has just been awarded the Lew Drake Award from the Devon Training Group.

CPCS Training

We are a fully accredited centre for the Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS Training)  – a card scheme to prove the skills of plant operators and the largest recognised card scheme for the plant users.
